I am a chronic volunteer and will help where I can, when I can. Rather than serving on many boards, I discovered that my time was best spent in focusing on those that serve many, rather than those that serve a target group. Between the United Way and the Chamber of Commerce, every person and business in our community has the opportunity to be touched by these organizations.
